Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? Arise, cast us not off for ever.
Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, Like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.
Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries: And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgement.
O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgement, Even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Art thou not it that cut Rahab in pieces, that pierced the dragon?
LORD, why castest thou off my soul? Why hidest thou thy face from me?
Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favourable no more?
But now thou hast cast us off, and brought us to dishonour; And goest not forth with our hosts.
For the spoiling of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety at whom they puff.
