Proverbs 6:15

Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; On a sudden shall he be broken and that without remedy.

but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:

Let death come suddenly upon them, Let them go down alive into the pit: For wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them.

I also will laugh in the day of your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish come upon you.

The wicked is thrust down in his evil-doing: But the righteous hath hope in his death.

For a righteous man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: But the wicked are overthrown by calamity.

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; And who knoweth the destruction of them both?

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be broken, and that without remedy.

There be six things which the LORD hateth; Yea, seven which are an abomination unto him:

and shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place to bury.

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.
