Bind them continually upon thine heart, Tie them about thy neck.

The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and uprightness, and did turn many away from iniquity.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: And by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

Mercy and truth preserve the king: And his throne is upholden by mercy.

For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, And chains about thy neck.

Thy word have I laid up in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee.

All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the law of the LORD may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;

And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye tithe mint and anise and cummin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the law, judgement, and mercy, and faith: but these ye ought to have done, and not to have left the other undone.

Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.

Mercy and truth are met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD, a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth;
