He that is of a greedy spirit stirreth up strife: But he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
But godliness with contentment is great gain:
The liberal soul shall be made fat: And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
By pride cometh only contention: But with the well advised is wisdom.
The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Hatred stirreth up strifes: But love covereth all transgressions.
The fear of man bringeth a snare: But whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
An angry man stirreth up strife, And a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.
Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; Yea, strife and ignominy shall cease.
The proud and haughty man, scorner is his name, He worketh in the arrogance of pride.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: And good tidings make the bones fat.
A wrathful man stirreth up contention: But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: But he thrusteth away the desire of the wicked.
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house: But he that hateth gifts shall live.
