Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet delicately, who put ornaments of gold upon your apparel.

Gold and glass cannot equal it: Neither shall the exchange thereof be jewels of fine gold.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought brooches, and earrings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man that offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

A fool despiseth his father's correction: But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence.

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, The LORD hath made even both of them.

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: Reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

And I put a ring upon thy nose, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
