How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And scorners delight them in scorning, And fools hate knowledge?

It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness: And so is wisdom to a man of understanding.

They that are perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD: But such as are perfect in their way are his delight.

A good man shall obtain favour of the LORD: But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

Good understanding giveth favour: But the way of the treacherous is rugged.

Surely he scorneth the scorners, But he giveth grace unto the lowly.

So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.

So is the way of an adulterous woman; She eateth, and wipeth her mouth, And saith, I have done no wickedness.

For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favour of the LORD.

And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his guilt offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
