And a fire was kindled in their company; The flame burned up the wicked.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before him, And it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and the odour of the cloud of incense went up.

And there came forth fire from before the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

even those men that did bring up an evil report of the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

and take ye every man his censer, and put incense upon them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each his censer.

and they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown:

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Now they that died by the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides them that died about the matter of Korah.

and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died; what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men, and they became a sign.

And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the presence of Aaron their father.

And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man shall desire to hurt them, in this manner must he be killed.
