If thou wert pure and upright; Surely now he would awake for thee, And make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Art thou not it that cut Rahab in pieces, that pierced the dragon?

Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is his delight.

And thou shalt know that thy tent is in peace; And thou shalt visit thy fold, and shalt miss nothing.

Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? Arise, cast us not off for ever.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an uptight man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil.

So that they caused the cry of the poor to come unto him, And he heard the cry of the afflicted.

The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked; But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, And let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents;

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; With the perfect man thou wilt shew thyself perfect;
