Shall any teach God knowledge? Seeing he judgeth those that are high.

Behold, he putteth no trust in his holy ones; Yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, When the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

Behold, God doeth loftily in his power: Who is a teacher like unto him?

Who hath enjoined him his way? Or who can say, Thou hast wrought unrighteousness?

Gird up now thy loins like a man; For I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me

Behold, he putteth no trust in his servants; And his angels he chargeth with folly:

Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.

God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of judgement and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for one higher than the high regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

For who hath stood in the council of the LORD, that he should perceive and hear his word? who hath marked my word, and heard it?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life?

For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgement;

And angels which kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgement of the great day.
