Now in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and shalt prevail also: go forth, and do so.

But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will renounce thee to thy face.

Though I am like a rotten thing that consumeth, Like a garment that is moth-eaten.

My skin is black, and falleth from me, And my bones are burned with heat.

My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; My skin closeth up and breaketh out afresh.

From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and festering sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with oil.

therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts.

The LORD shall smite thee with the boil of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore boil, whereof thou canst not be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the crown of thy head.

and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.
