Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again; He shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

If he pass through, and shut up, And call unto judgement, then who can hinder him?

God delivereth me to the ungodly, And casteth me into the hands of the wicked.

He hath broken me down on every side, and I am gone: And mine hope hath he plucked up like a tree.

He sealeth up the hand of every man; That all men whom he hath made may know it.

For God hath shut up all unto disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and none shall shut, and that shutteth, and none openeth:

This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from off thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel:

And thou hast declared this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me up into thine hand, thou killedst me not.

Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered up thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not smite him the second time.
