For the sun ariseth with the scorching wind, and withereth the grass; and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his goings.

The strangers shall fade away, and shall come trembling out of their close places.

As for man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; In the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley of them that are overcome with wine!

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

and when the sun was risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

saying, These last have spent but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.

But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

and when the sun was risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

and those that use the world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.
