And the two men, sons of Belial, came in and sat before him: and the men of Belial bare witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did curse God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

and I persecuted this Way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.

And this I also did in Jerusalem: and I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death, I gave my vote against them.

Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

and set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak words against this holy place, and the law:

But they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord;

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

The hand of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.
