So Hushai David's friend came into the city; and Absalom came into Jerusalem.

And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend:

and it went out from Beth-el to Luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he saith.

and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was priest, and the king's friend;
