withdraw thy hand far from me, and let not dread of thee terrify me.
Are not the days of my life few? Let me alone, that I may find a little comfort
Will not his majesty terrify you, and the dread of him fall upon you?
Only grant two things to me, then I will not hide myself from thy face:
Behold, no fear of me need terrify you; my pressure will not be heavy upon you.
Let him take his rod away from me, and let not dread of him terrify me.
My flesh trembles for fear of thee, and I am afraid of thy judgments.
Remove thy stroke from me; I am spent by the blows of thy hand.
But I withheld my hand, and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.
