they went to Gedaliah at Mizpah—Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, Johanan the son of Kareah, Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, Jezaniah the son of the Ma-acathite, they and their men.

And he took one of the seed royal and made a covenant with him, putting him under oath. (The chief men of the land he had taken away,
