The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when he brings it with evil intent.

They shall not pour libations of wine to the Lord; and they shall not please him with their sacrifices. Their bread shall be like mourners' bread; all who eat of it shall be defiled; for their bread shall be for their hunger only; it shall not come to the house of the Lord.

To the pure all things are pure, but to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are corrupted.

save some, by snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
