The sons of Kenaz: Othni-el and Seraiah; and the sons of Othni-el: Hathath and Meonothai.

Eshton was the father of Bethrapha, Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Irnahash. These are the men of Recah.

Meonothai was the father of Ophrah; and Seraiah was the father of Joab the father of Ge-harashim, so-called because they were craftsmen.

And Othni-el the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.

And Othni-el the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.
