all girt with swords and expert in war, each with his sword at his thigh, against alarms by night.

From that day on, half of my servants worked on construction, and half held the spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail; and the leaders stood behind all the house of Judah,

And Ehud made for himself a sword with two edges, a cubit in length; and he girded it on his right thigh under his clothes.
