Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to thee do I pray.
Yet have regard to the prayer of thy servant and to his supplication, O Lord my God, hearkening to the cry and to the prayer which thy servant prays before thee this day;
The Lord is king for ever and ever; the nations shall perish from his land.
I will extol thee, my God and King, and bless thy name for ever and ever.

Yet God my King is from of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.
For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our ruler, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
thou didst hear my plea, ‘Do not close thine ear to my cry for help!’
