Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing to his name, for he is gracious!

Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for he is gracious, and a song of praise is seemly.

Thou art good and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

Praise the Lord! O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever!

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright.

O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures for ever!

And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.”

For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures for ever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

My soul is feasted as with marrow and fat, and my mouth praises thee with joyful lips,
