Righteous art thou, O Lord, and right are thy judgments.

Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I complain to thee; yet I would plead my case before thee. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?

O Lord the God of Israel, thou art just, for we are left a remnant that has escaped, as at this day. Behold, we are before thee in our guilt, for none can stand before thee because of this.”

To thee, O Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us confusion of face, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those that are near and those that are far away, in all the lands to which thou hast driven them, because of the treachery which they have committed against thee.

The Lord is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.

And I heard the altar cry, “Yea, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are thy judgments!”

Therefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice.

The Lord works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed.

Mighty King, lover of justice, thou hast established equity; thou hast executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

Yet thou hast been just in all that has come upon us, for thou hast dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly;

“The Rock, his work is perfect; for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.

for his judgments are true and just; he has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means!
