Save us, we beseech thee, O Lord! O Lord, we beseech thee, give us success!

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish thou the work of our hands upon us, yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of thy steadfast love answer me. With thy faithful help

Give victory to the king, O Lord; answer us when we call.

Save me from the mouth of the lion, my afflicted soul from the horns of the wild oxen!

Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck.
