Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress;
“In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears.
Nevertheless he regarded their distress, when he heard their cry.
and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him.
I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress they seek me, saying,
my persecutions, my sufferings, what befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra, what persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me.
