Luke alone is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you; for he is very useful in serving me.

Once you were no people but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.

It was fitting to make merry and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’ ”

All have turned aside, together they have gone wrong; no one does good, not even one.”

So you also, when you have done all that is commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’ ”

And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.’
