Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Also take with you every sort of food that is eaten, and store it up; and it shall serve as food for you and for them.”
who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?’
Who provides for the raven its prey, when its young ones cry to God, and wander about for lack of food?
He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens which cry.
I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine.
For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
And he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns, and build larger ones; and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
