Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

Lo, these shall come from afar, and lo, these from the north and from the west, and these from the land of Syene.”

And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon.”

So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them.

But immediately a woman, whose little daughter was possessed by an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell down at his feet.

And he said to her, “Let the children first be fed, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.”

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all.
