And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Be-elzebul, and by the prince of demons he casts out the demons.”

Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and said,

it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Be-elzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.

But when the Pharisees heard it they said, “It is only by Be-elzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.”

But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the prince of demons.”

The people answered, “You have a demon! Who is seeking to kill you?”

The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If any one keeps my word, he will never taste death.’

The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?”

But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Be-elzebul, the prince of demons”;

Now when the Pharisees gathered together to him, with some of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem,

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon’;

It was the feast of the Dedication at Jerusalem;

On one of those days, as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.

But I am a worm, and no man; scorned by men, and despised by the people.

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria, and lay sick; so he sent messengers, telling them, “Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”
