And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came forth from him and healed them all.

Now a centurion had a slave who was dear to him, who was sick and at the point of death.

In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many that were blind he bestowed sight.

so that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and pallets, that as Peter came by at least his shadow might fall on some of them.

For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”
