As they were going along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”

And all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do.” And Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.

When the days drew near for him to be received up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem.

And they went on to another village.

Peter said to him, “Lord, why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”
