But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him; for he that is not against you is for you.”

He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

When they came to Caperna-um, the collectors of the half-shekel tax went up to Peter and said, “Does not your teacher pay the tax?”

No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.

So the men partook of their provisions, and did not ask direction from the Lord.
