And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
I call upon thee, O Lord; make haste to me! Give ear to my voice, when I call to thee!
“Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.”
Woe to you lawyers! for you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”
And he told them a parable, to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
And he cried, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
And Jesus stopped, and commanded him to be brought to him; and when he came near, he asked him,
And some of the Pharisees in the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.”
While he was still speaking, a man from the ruler's house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the Teacher any more.”
Three times I besought the Lord about this, that it should leave me;
