As he said this, all his adversaries were put to shame; and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him.

but they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men.

Full of honor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures for ever.

May my accusers be clothed with dishonor; may they be wrapped in their own shame as in a mantle!

Let them be put to shame and confusion altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who desire my hurt!

“Who is like thee, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like thee, majestic in holiness, terrible in glorious deeds, doing wonders?

Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word: “Your brethren who hate you and cast you out for my name's sake have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy’; but it is they who shall be put to shame.

and sound speech that cannot be censured, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.
