The Lord said to Moses,
Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,
These are the statutes and ordinances and laws which the Lord made between him and the people of Israel on Mount Sinai by Moses.
“Say to the people of Israel, When a man makes a special vow of persons to the Lord at your valuation,
Every devoted thing in Israel shall be yours.
