They shall not defile themselves by going near to a dead person; however, for father or mother, for son or daughter, for brother or unmarried sister they may defile themselves.

You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the Lord.

“Command the people of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one having a discharge, and every one that is unclean through contact with the dead;

“All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.
