This is the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, according to its families—the cities with their villages.

Its territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

Adjoining the territory of Dan, from the east side to the west, Asher, one portion.

The sons of Zilpah, Leah's maid: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram.
