The Jews were looking for him at the feast, and saying, “Where is he?”

And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”

They were looking for Jesus and saying to one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think? That he will not come to the feast?”

After this Jesus went about in Galilee; he would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.

Yet for fear of the Jews no one spoke openly of him.

The Jews marveled at it, saying, “How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?”

They said to him, “Where is he?” He said, “I do not know.”
