Fear not, you beasts of the field, for the pastures of the wilderness are green; the tree bears its fruit, the fig tree and vine give their full yield.

The pastures of the wilderness drip, the hills gird themselves with joy,

For the Lord will comfort Zion; he will comfort all her waste places, and will make her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song.

The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us.

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God, thy judgments are like the great deep; man and beast thou savest, O Lord.

When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength; you shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.”

the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.
