For his shade the lotus trees cover him; the willows of the brook surround him.
Under the lotus plants he lies, in the covert of the reeds and in the marsh.
Behold, if the river is turbulent he is not frightened; he is confident though Jordan rushes against his mouth.
Therefore the abundance they have gained and what they have laid up they carry away over the Brook of the Willows.
They shall spring up like grass amid waters, like willows by flowing streams.
Then he took of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil; he placed it beside abundant waters. He set it like a willow twig,
And you shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
