Genesis 32:25

When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and Jacob's thigh was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.

Make haste, escape there; for I can do nothing till you arrive there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

And Jacob was left alone; and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.

Then he said, “Let me go, for the day is breaking.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go, unless you bless me.”

Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the sinew of the hip which is upon the hollow of the thigh, because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh on the sinew of the hip.

Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you, says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Will you question me about my children, or command me concerning the work of my hands?

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words.
