The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great; he has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, camels and asses.

And for her sake he dealt well with Abram; and he had sheep, oxen, he-asses, menservants, maidservants, she-asses, and camels.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse; and by you all the families of the earth shall bless themselves.”

Now Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

Now Abraham was old, well advanced in years; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

After the death of Abraham God blessed Isaac his son. And Isaac dwelt at Beer-lahai-roi.

Abraham gave all he had to Isaac.

Thus the man grew exceedingly rich, and had large flocks, maidservants and menservants, and camels and asses.

by the God of your father who will help you, by God Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that couches beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

He had seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and very many servants; so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east.

By his blessing they multiply greatly; and he does not let their cattle decrease.

Wealth and riches are in his house; and his righteousness endures for ever.

Thou hast given me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand supported me, and thy help made me great.

The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well.

But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
