the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them, desirable young men, governors and commanders all of them, officers and warriors, all of them riding on horses.

And the name of the third river is Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

They dwelt from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt in the direction of Assyria; he settled over against all his people.

And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldeans, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by his servants the prophets.

Again the word of the Lord came to me:

She doted upon the Assyrians, governors and commanders, warriors clothed in full armor, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.

But she carried her harlotry further; she saw men portrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed in vermilion,

Therefore, O Oholibah, thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I will rouse against you your lovers from whom you turned in disgust, and I will bring them against you from every side:

warriors clothed in purple, governors and commanders, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.

Then he departed from the land of the Chaldeans, and lived in Haran. And after his father died, God removed him from there into this land in which you are now living;
