and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin;
your robes are all fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia. From ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad;
and with the first lamb a tenth measure of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a libation.
“Take the finest spices: of liquid myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty, and of aromatic cane two hundred and fifty,
and you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; a holy anointing oil it shall be.
The shekel shall be twenty gerahs; five shekels shall be five shekels, and ten shekels shall be ten shekels, and your mina shall be fifty shekels.
You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
