You did not so learn Christ! —

and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Every one who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me.
assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus.
but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.
