In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.

Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to behold the sun.

But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, how the righteous and the wise and their deeds are in the hand of God; whether it is love or hate man does not know. Everything before them is vanity,

Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain salvation upon you.

The point is this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching.
