Love the sojourner therefore; for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

“You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother; you shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you were a sojourner in his land.

“When you go forth against your enemies and are in camp, then you shall keep yourself from every evil thing.

They found an Egyptian in the open country, and brought him to David; and they gave him bread and he ate, they gave him water to drink,
