and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nation which the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

“Do not profane your daughter by making her a harlot, lest the land fall into harlotry and the land become full of wickedness.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts,

then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has wrought folly in Israel by playing the harlot in her father's house; so you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.

then the man who lay with her shall give to the father of the young woman fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has violated her; he may not put her away all his days.

immoral persons, sodomites, kidnapers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, base fellows, beset the house round about, beating on the door; and they said to the old man, the master of the house, “Bring out the man who came into your house, that we may know him.”
