And now, Lord, look upon their threats, and grant to thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

Since we have such a hope, we are very bold,

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer every one.
