And on the following day he appeared to them as they were quarreling and would have reconciled them, saying, ‘Men, you are brethren, why do you wrong each other?’
Then Abram said to Lot, “Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen; for we are kinsmen.
Then he sent his brothers away, and as they departed, he said to them, “Do not quarrel on the way.”
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!
A brother helped is like a strong city, but quarreling is like the bars of a castle.
Then he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.
He supposed that his brethren understood that God was giving them deliverance by his hand, but they did not understand.
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves.
