When the soldiers had crucified Jesus they took his garments and made four parts, one for each soldier; also his tunic. But the tunic was without seam, woven from top to bottom;

Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you girded yourself and walked where you would; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish to go.”

and when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was during the days of Unleavened Bread.

So Peter was kept in prison; but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.

to do whatever thy hand and thy plan had predestined to take place.

And they arrested them and put them in custody until the morrow, for it was already evening.

they arrested the apostles and put them in the common prison.

But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison.
